Provide Serial communications to your .Net applications

ComControl

Provide serial communication to your application. ComControl is a .Net component which provides multi-threaded RS-232 serial communications. Using this control allows your .Net application to communicate with multiple serial devices simultaneously. ComControl gives you complete control over the communication properties including baud, parity, flow control (XON/XOFF, CTS/RTS, DSR/DTR, etc) and read/write timeouts. ComControl supports standard file transmission protocols such as XMODEM and YMODEM and includes a modem class that eliminates the need to know the complicated list of AT commands.

What's New

  • Added COMCharWaitingArgs class. Used to determine which port fired the CharWaiting event in a multi-port environment
  • Added ZModem protocol support for file transfers
  • Added new AutoAnswer method to the ModemObj class. This method allows a timeout to be specified while waiting for a connection
